Reducing Plant Stress
Since 2005, Mid-Michigan Agronomy (MMA) has performed research on multiple crops in Michigan including potatoes, soybeans, corn, sugar beets, tomatoes, wheat, cucumbers, peppers, and blueberries. MMA tests plant health and yield using a variety of scientific and industry accepted standards.
Application
Growthful was applied over 9 weeks, on a 7-day interval, and was evaluated based upon yield affects. Several Growthful, Post Emerge Spray formulations were tested. Bay City Sugar Beet Loam soil type was used in this test.
Results
- Yield increases ranged from 28% to 39%.
- The addition of a commonly used fungicide to Growthful helped to increase yields primarily by managing plant health and contributed in reducing plant stress.
