From cultivating the seeds of knowledge to nurturing the growth of successful ventures, my journey has been one of dedication and achievement.
I embarked on my academic pursuit at Michigan State University, delving into the world of agriculture. Those formative years set the stage for a lifelong passion that would shape my path in remarkable ways.
In 1978, I took the bold step of becoming a Self Employed Row Crop Farmer, where the fields became my canvas and dedication my brushstroke. For eight transformative years, I tilled the earth, sowed the seeds, and reaped the rewards of hard-earned labor.
The turning point arrived when I assumed the role of Manager at the Hilleshög Seed Research Station. For 32 years, I nurtured innovation and growth within the agricultural domain. From there, I took on the mantle of Hilleshög Seed Sales Manager, overseeing territories that spanned Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Nebraska, and even Ontario, Canada. For three decades, I was not just a manager, but a cultivator of relationships and a champion of excellence.
Stepping into a broader arena, I joined Syngenta Seeds as a Crop Specialist. Over three years, I specialized in Sugarbeet, Chicpeas, and Alfalfa, honing my expertise and contributing to the advancement of agricultural practices.
My journey reached a pinnacle as I assumed the role of Hilleshög Seeds National Marketing Lead. A culmination of experiences, a testament to dedication, this role brought together all that I had learned, as I led the charge in shaping the company's national presence and strategic direction.
Today, as I reflect on a path paved with decades of commitment, I am reminded that each chapter has been a testament to growth, perseverance, and a ceaseless love for the world of agriculture. The seeds I've sown have flourished into a legacy of accomplishment, and I look forward to continuing this journey, fueled by a passion that remains as vibrant as ever.
